Small Group Instruction
Small Group Martial Arts Training
Our small group martial arts training program is designed to provide students with the individualized attention they deserve while also building confidence, teamwork, and camaraderie in a supportive group environment.
Unlike large commercial classes where students can easily feel overlooked, our small group format allows instructors to work closely with each student to ensure proper technique, steady progress, and meaningful personal development. Students receive detailed instruction and individualized guidance while also benefiting from the motivation and positive energy that comes from training alongside others.
Class sizes are intentionally kept small; typically between 2 to 8 students, and never more than 10 students, allowing for a more focused and engaging learning experience. This structure helps students stay involved, receive consistent feedback, and develop strong foundational skills without feeling lost in a crowd.
Small group training is an excellent option for students who:
- Thrive in a structured but social learning environment
- Want more individual attention than a large class can provide
- Build confidence through interaction with peers
- Benefit from teamwork, encouragement, and accountability
- Want a balance between personalized instruction and group dynamics
- Are transitioning from private instruction into a group setting
Our programs are generally organized by age and maturity level to help create a positive and productive training experience for every student:
- Junior Warriors: Ages 6–12
- Warriors: Ages 13+
- Adults: Ages 16+
We also welcome family participation whenever possible. Parents and children may train together, creating a unique opportunity to learn, grow, and achieve goals side-by-side in a positive and supportive environment.
Students in our small group program receive the same high level of instruction, attention to detail, and commitment to personal development that we provide across all of our training formats. Our goal is to help every student develop not only martial arts skills, but also confidence, discipline, focus, resilience, respect, and leadership.
For some students, small group instruction provides the ideal balance between individualized support and the confidence-building experience of training with others. It creates an encouraging environment where students can challenge themselves, build friendships, and grow both on and off the training floor.
