Hi Everyone! Welcome to our latest issue of The Traveling Dojo News!
We have committed to donating a percentage of our income each year to a charitable organization that aligns with our core values. Each issue of our newsletter will start with a call to action to help us in supporting our selected organization(s). This year we are supporting The Alliance Against Seclusion & Restraint. Our Partnership With The City of Gaithersburg
We kicked off two programs in February through the City of Gaithersburg’s activity and fitness program. There is still time to join our winter session, which runs through March 31st!
- Practical Self-Defense For Women (ages 16+)
- Warriors Martial Arts (ages 11 to 15) (we are accepting children as young as 6 into this program, reach out to Master Mark if you are interested).
Our Spring program begins April 21st, REGISTER NOW!

- Ninjas Martial Arts (ages 6 to 10)
Martial Arts Students: Already have a belt rank in Taekwondo, Tang Soo Do or Uchudo? No problem, we will accept your current rank and train you for your black belt!

Now Accepting Credit Cards
While we prefer Zelle or Venmo, we do recognize the convenience of using credit cards, so we are now accepting all major credit cards. Right now we can only accept credit card payments in person, but we are actively working on getting payment processing integrated into our website. Stay tuned as we integrate this feature. In the meantime, continue using Zelle or Venmo or talk to Master Mark for the most convenient way for you to make payments through your favorite credit card.
St. Patrick’s Day Parade
🍀 Gaithersburg St. Patrick’s Day Parade! 🍀
Our application to participate in Gaithersburg’s 24th annual St. Patrick’s Day parade has been accepted! Master Mark fired up his 57 year old Corvette Stingray this weekend and has officially declared winter to be over – we’re ready for the parade!
We are still looking for additional students to join us in the parade to help carry our banner, help us handout some giveaways or just walk with us!

Location: Rio Lakefront (Rio Boulevard and Grand Corner Avenue)
