Belt Promotion Testing
While all students are invited to attend the belt promotion testing, only students receiving an invitation are eligible to test.
Date: June 13th 2026
Time: Students testing must arrive no later than 2pm, testing will begin promptly at 2:15pm
Location: Casey Community Center (801 S. Frederick Avenue, Gaithersburg)
Requirements: Students must wear their full uniform with belts properly tied. Instructors will be available to help students tie their belts if they need assistance. The only permissible shirts worn under the gi top are official Traveling Dojo t-shirts (they must be properly tucked in). No sweatshirts are permitted under the gi top.
Summer BBQ
Join us immediately following the promotion testing for a summer barbeque at Master Mark’s home. We will have food, drink and lawn games. This invitation is open to all students, regardless of you are testing or not.
